Former Blackburn Rovers striker Keith Barker has won trials with Warwickshire cricket club.

The Enfield all-rounder, a left-handed batsman and left-arm bowler, was recommended to the Bears by David Lloyd, the former England, Lancashire and Accrington all-rounder, says the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

As well as being a graduate of the Blackburn academy, Barker's football career has included spells at Rochdale and Northwich Victoria.
