Ryan Nelsen is looking forward to having Jeremy Brockie play under him at MLS club Toronto FC.
The 25-year old Wellington Phoenix attacker will spend the next few months with the Canadian outfit and his former New Zealand teammate Nelsen is eager to use his qualities in a forward line which has produced 11 goals in 10 matches for just one win so far this season.
"He is a good goalscorer," Nelsen told MLSsoccer.com of Brockie.
"He can create something out of nothing and he works really hard. He is a really hard guy as well and won't back down from anything.
"I know he is looking forward to it and we are looking forward to having him. He is just going to here for the [A-League] offseason at the moment. His offseason is pretty much the majority of our season, so it works well."
Brockie produced a career-best season in the A-League, scoring 16 goals in 24 appearances, which was more than half of the bottom-placed Phoenix's season tally of 31.
