Freddy Adu will continue his search to find a new club by training with Athletes’ Performance in Arizona.
Former IMG Academy chief Trevor Moawad, who has a new role with AP, confirmed that Adu would come to Arizona as he goes about sorting out the next phase of his career.
“With Freddy, it’s a tougher stretch for him right now,” Moawad told the Seattle Times.
“He’s out of contract and trying to figure out what he’s going to do next. I think he’ll probably come out to Arizona and train, unless he can get signed somewhere.
“Obviously the transfer window will not matter for Freddy because he’s not with a team, so he can sign whenever if someone will give him a shot.”
