Txiki Begiristain remains in the sights of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

El Confidencial says Abramovich is prepared to bring the former Barcelona sports director to Chelsea to help smooth negotiations with Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola is close to Begiristain and was disappointed to lose him at Barca when Joan Laporta was ousted as president.

Begiristain has also been linked with Liverpool and has ambitions of working in England.
