Former Barcelona president Joan Gaspart has taken aim at Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is favourite for the Ballon d'Or this year.
"To say that Ronaldo is the best player in the world is to possess great ignorance," Gaspart told Radio MARCA. "Messi is the best.
"Figo [leaving for Real] was a betrayal, it was treachery at midnight."
