Former Barcelona and Galatasaray coach Frank Rijkaard is set for Aston Villa talks.
The Daily Star Sunday says Rijkaard, 48, would say 'yes' to Villa owner Randy Lerner.
That could see a hat-trick of Dutch appointments to managerial positions in the top-flight, with Martin Jol having landed the Fulham job and Guus Hiddink still favourite to take over at Chelsea.
Rijkaard has previously managed Holland, Sparta Rotterdam, Barcelona - where he won the Champions League and La Liga twice - and Galatasaray in Turkey.
He is viewed as a 33-1 outsider for the job by bookmakers but those odds looks set to tumble.
There are claims that Villa are reconsidering Mark Hughes, Rafa Benitez and David Moyes and are also keen on Bolton's Owen Coyle.
But Rijkaard is a winner of the European Cup both as a player and a manager.
