Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola intends to spend the year in New York with his family. Guardiola is eager to learn English and "learn the American way".

He told Beinsport: "While in New York, I would like to learn more about the American way, I hope to improve my English and also my children, that's what we will do in the next year."

Asked if he could now watch Barca as a fan, Guardiola added: "As a coach. I'm always coach."
