Former Barcelona B and Girons midfielder Alberto Manga is reportedly in Australia with of winning an A-League contract.
The 29-year old Spaniard is in Sydney to train with NSW Premier League clubs Marconi and Sydney Olympic to hopefully attract interest from Sydney FC.
Manga confirmed to aufourfourtwo.com that he was keen to try and find a home in the A-League.
"Here they have beautiful stadiums, great infrastructure, good fans and such an amazing country. I want to have an experience here and try to participate in the league," he said.
The role that Manga plays could see him become a perfect replacement for Slovakian midfielder Karol Kisel who departed Sydney at the end of recently completed A-League season.
