Former Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan is delighted with his move to Inter Milan.
The Uruguayan international striker completed his transfer from Atletico Madrid on deadline day.
"I speak a little Italian, as I studied it when I was a child, even if I've forgotten quite a lot of the language. I hope to get it back as soon as possible," he told Inter Channel.
"I have arrived at a great club and knowing Italian makes it much easier to settle in. I am happy here, as Milan is wonderful and so are the Inter fans."
Forlan was chosen due to his tactical versatility in replacing Samuel Eto'o.
"I want to play wherever the Coach asks me to. Of course I'm willing to sacrifice myself for the team the way Eto'o did. After all, for Uruguay I do not play as a centre-forward because we have Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani, so I am more of a trequartista."
