Ex-Atletico Madrid forward Paunovic set to join Philadelphia Union

Former Atletico Madrid and Partizan Belgrade attacker Vejlko Paunovic is set to sign with MLS club Philadelphia Union.

The 33-year old Serbian retired from the game in 2008 but has recently been trialing with the Union with the view to winning a contract.

Although it is not official, reports suggest that Paunovic, who has also played with Getafe, Tenerife, Hannover and Rubin Kazan, is close to becoming a Union player with naslovi.net saying that he already had signed.
