Former Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood says Gabby Agbonlahor should be playing.

Speaking as a pundit on Sky Sports, the former Villa boss tipped Agbonlahor to have what it takes to lead Remi Garde's side to safety.

After Villa's draw with Leicester City, he said: "Remi Garde must get Gabby back fit as soon as is possible.

"If there is one man who can save Villa it is him, he has been doing it season after season for the club."

Sherwood also commented on the importance of goal-scorer Rudy Gestede.

He stated: "Rudy has one massive attribute that he brings to the table, he is a bully and a real handful.

"Defenders hate playing against that and he proved that by giving Robert Huth a real handful in the second-half."
