Sebastian Svard is set to depart Dutch club Roda JC for a possible move to MLS outfit New England Revolution.
A report on voetbalprimeur.nl suggests the 28-year old Dane has been in talks with the Revs and is set to undergo a week-long trial next week.
Svard has extensive experience in Europe, kicking of his career with Arsenal in 2000 (but failing to make a first team appearance) whilst having loan spells with FC Copenhagen, Stoke City, Brondby and Vitoria Setubal.
He departed North London to join German club Borussia Monchengladbach in 2006 and since then has played with Hansa Rostock and Roda where has struggled to become a regular part of the first team.
