Ex-Arsenal star Hleb: McGregor could play for Man Utd, Man City

Former Arsenal star Alex Hleb says Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor could play in the Premiership.

Hleb's Stuttgart overcame McGregor 2-0 in their Champions League clash on Tuesday night.

Having spent three years at Arsenal, Hleb believes McGregor possesses the qualities to play in the Premiership. He was, with a wry, knowing smile, even willing to stretch the point a little and suggest at what level.

“Okay, Manchester City and Manchester United,” he grinned. “He was very good, and a goalkeeper always has a chance to go to England and play there.”
