Barcelona flop Alex Hleb is being linked with a Premier League return.
The Daily Mail says Wolfsburg have cleared the path for Hleb to make a return to the Barclays Premier League in January after the German club declined to extend loan deal.
The former Arsenal midfielder joined Barcelona in 2008 before heading to Germany with Stuttgart on loan, who, in turn loaned him to Birmingham last season.
