The Danish midfielder kicked off his career with Arsenal back in 2000 and has spent time with FC Copenhagen, Stoke City, Brondby, Vitoria de Guimaraes, Borussia Monchengladbach and Hansa Rostock since.
The 29-year old, currently with Dutch club Roda JC, will train with the Washington outfit this winter in a bid to win a contract with DC alongside former USA youth international and FC Dallas goalkeeper Josh Lambo and 22-year old Jamaican forward Alanzo Adlam.
Already on trial at DC are ex-Chicago Fire keeper Andrew Dykstra, defenders Jed Zayner and Charles Rodriguez, and midfielders Ryan Richter,Lance Rozeboom and Seth C'deBaca.
