Ex-Arsenal midfielder Patrick Cregg handed Vancouver Whitecaps chance

Carolina RailHawks midfielder Floyd Franks has been handed trials by Vancouver Whitecaps.

Franks played for Caps coach Martin Rennie with the USL-1 Cleveland City Stars in 2008 and with Carolina in 2010 and 2011.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal and Hibs midfielder Patrick Cregg is also training with the Caps. The Irishman's last club was Bury.
