Former Arsenal midfielder Fran Merida is moving to Sporting Braga.
Merida has left Atletico Madrid to join Sporting on a season-long loan. The youngster was not in the plans of new Atletico coach Gregorio Manzano.
Atletico are sending Merida to Sporting in a swap for 21 year-old midfielder Pizzi.
Pizzi arrives for €15 million and will undergo a medical in Madrid today.
