Former Arsenal midfielder Edu is confident that Andre Santos will prove to be a top signing for the club.
The Brazilian left-back joined the Gunners from Turkish club Fenerbahce in the summer and Edu feels he will be a quality player in North London once he settles and adapts.
"He is a very good player and a very good guy," Edu told the club's official website. "With the ball he is technically fantastic, a typical Brazilian player.
"But every Brazilian needs time to adapt to the league because the English league is so different. I am 100 per cent sure that the fans will love him because he is very good with the ball.
"I know the Brazilian players at Arsenal very well, all the Brazilians follow them. I follow Arsenal as well.
"Before he came to London, Andre [Santos] spoke to me and asked me about Arsenal - and it's nice to see so many Brazilians here. If they are here maybe it is because me, Sylvinho andGilberto [Silva] did something good."
