Former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has again gone under the knife to save his career.

Diaby moved to Marseille on a free transfer last season as his Arsenal career was over, the club persisted with the midfielder for 9 years but he could never reach his full potential.

The surgery Diaby will have is again on his ankle, says The Sun.

Diaby signed for Arsenal in January 2006 from French club Auxerre at the same time Emmanuel Adebayor signed for the club from AS Monaco.
