Former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby started a first team game for the first time in three years as Olympique Marseille lost to Bastia.
The injury-plagued midfielder was released by Arsenal last summer after making just 22 appearances in the final four seasons of his 10-year stint.
Yesterday, Diaby, 29, made his first league start since March 2013 alongside former Portsmouth and Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra.
OM lost 2-1 to Bastia, leaving them in relegation danger.
