Ex-Arsenal keeper Wilson: Arsene needs to buy British

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson says Arsene Wenger must "swallow his pride" and pay for Premier League experience.

Wilson says it is time for Wenger to change his policy and add some steel to his back four — whatever the cost.

He said: "Arsene has a complete aversion to paying double the price for British players.

"But he has to swallow his pride on that because there has to be a more British feel to the team."
