Former Arsenal goalkeeper coach Bob Wilson doesn't want Manuel Almunia to be considered for England.

"I don't agree with that," he told Setanta Sports News. "I was born in England to very Scottish parents and a very Scottish family and I think I'm a Scot.

"I think that ruling that allowed me to become the first English-born player to play for Scotland is right.

"When it involves great grandparents I don't go along with it. It's got to be direct mum or dad, or both."
