Lassana Diarra has had his contract with Olympique Marseille terminated by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old French midfielder is set to leave the Stade Velodrome for a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League, according to reports.
The former Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid man arrived at Marseille as a free agent in 2015 after a stint with Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia but has opted to leave the French club.
"Olympique de Marseille and Lassana Diarra have terminated his contract by mutual consent, effective today," read a Marseille statement.
"Having arrived without a transfer fee in the 2015-16 season, Lassana Diarra spent a season and a half at Olympique Marseille."
