Former Arsenal attacker Kaylen Hinds has been dumped by VfL Wolfsburg.

After failing to appear in Germany since the end of last season, Hinds has had his contract terminated today.

The former England U20 international had claimed a lost passport was reason for missing preseason - an excuse which Wolfsburg have now rejected.

"He has not fulfilled his contractual obligations despite repeated requests. We do not tolerate such behavior," confirmed VfL manager Jörg Schmadtke.

Wolfsburg signed Hinds a year ago from Arsenal for €1.5m.
