Andrey Arshavin is on the verge of sealing a return to Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg.
The 32-year old Russia international was released by Arsenal this summer after four-and-a-half-years in North London but will soon sign a deal with former club Zenit, much to the delight of chief executive of club owner Gazprom, Alexei Miller.
"We have to remember that Arshavin is a product of Zenit," he told The Sun.
"And I think it right that a product of Zenit finishes his career at his native club. Arshavin is a great Russian footballer and a great Petersburg sportsman."
