Former Sweden international Christian Wilhelmsson will not return to the LA Galaxy next season according to head coach Bruce Arena.
The 32-year old arrived at the Home Depot Center in September after leaving Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and managed 13 appearances including four in the playoffs as the Galaxy swept to a second successive MLS title.
Regarding the ex-Stabaek, Anderlecht and Bolton man coming back, Arena admitted that he had his doubts.
"I don't expect Wilhelmsson to be back," Arena said. "He has other options on the table."
