Former Ajax and Nottingham Forest star Bryan Roy is backing Louis van Gaal for instant success at Manchester United.
Van Gaal's appointment was confirmed yesterday.
"Van Gaal will get them back into the Champions League," Roy told talkSPORT. "They have some quality players at Old Trafford.
"He can invest, get some new players in and build a new team. He also has a good eye for putting youth in the team.
"He's going to be an instant success. I'm sure of it. His style of play suits England, he will outplay a lot of clubs."
