Former Ajax chief David Endt has defended the form slump of Bertrand Traore.
The on-loan Chelsea striker has battled for form since the turn of the year.
But Endt told RTV Noord-Holland, "I think he's a good player, he has a decent quality.
"I think he's not an absolute world champion of the level of Chelsea, but for Ajax, he is very useful... very useful. A real top player has more intelligence in his game.
"Traoré has his way of playing, but that play is not intelligent."
