Former AC Milan striker Marco Simone is calling on the club's powerbrokers to get their hands dirty.
Simone feels Milan president Silvio Berlusconi and GM Adriano Galliani need to rethink their rebuilding plans.
On Galliani, he told TMW: "Hard to say if it's time to change. One thing I did not understand is why Ariedo Braida left.
"I believe that Galliani and Berlusconi should have the desire to get back into the game, start from scratch and do not forget how they built a winning Milan.
"Now they're trying to accelerate time to build something with money, but it's useless because economically Milan cannot compete with Real Madrid or Manchester City."
