Former AC Milan midfielder Stefano Eranio insists there's nothing untoward over president Silvio Berlusconi's plan to address the squad this week.
With the team in crisis its been confirmed Berlusconi will speak with the players.
Eranio told TMW: "In my opinion Berlusconi's visit is linked only at the time, even in our times he was always close to the team. Maybe he spoke with the group and not individually, but when he did he brought us peace.
"The dialogue will be definitely a strong point, but should not be interpreted as a will to overtake the coach, he is the owner and wants to make his contribution. He is certainly not Merlin, but a man who knows football."
