Released AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta is fielding interest from Brazil.

The former Milan, Juventus and Barcelona defender is weighing up playing on this season after coming off contract in the summer.

TMW says Flamengo have already made tentative enquiries after Zambrotta - and he's open to the idea.

"I'd like to have an experience abroad. To run away to South America and live in Rio de Janeiro would be the best. We'll see what can be done in this direction," he said.
