Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has jumped to the defence of coach Pippo Inzaghi.
With the Rossoneri languishing in the bottom half of the Serie A table, Inzaghi is coming under increasing pressure.
The coach is due to meet with Milan president Silvio Berlusconi today to discuss the situation after defeat to Lazio.
"I believe that his (Inzaghi) responsibilities are less than 50%," argued Ambrosini.
"At this time it is permissible that Inzaghi can expect something more from his team."
