Former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi has heaped praise on Italy boss Antonio Conte.

Sacchi says Conte is the best Italy has.

"In football there are various kinds of Coaches," he told Milan Channel. "There are a small number of tactical, play-making geniuses, many who follow the trends of the moment, and some who are too attached to the past.

"Conte belongs to the group of the masters. He is the conductor of the orchestra.

"The problem when coaching the national team is that you have no time, so it takes a terrific talent for synthesis. Conte is the best Coach in Italy, and he proved it."
