Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra would love to see Sir Alex Ferguson fulfil his transfer ambitions and land AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso.

Ferguson is a huge fan of Gattuso and Evra said: "He is someone who has the tenacity, even if people think he is not a top class player on the technical aspect, but I would like to have a player like this in my team.

"I respect him because I remember to have faced him in the Champions League semi-final."
