Patrice Evra is of the belief that Manchester United’s strength and resolve to maintain top position for much of the season will again go undetected.
The Red Devils are closing in on a 20th top flight English title and have put themselves in this situation by continually fighting back from the brink of defeat to turn losing scorelines into winning ones.
On Wednesday night, United twice trailed West Ham United at Upton Park before eventually forcing a 2-2 draw but Evra does not expect any credit for the way the team always battles until the final whistle to give themselves every chance of success.
"Because it is Manchester United people don't give us a lot of credit," said Evra.
"They just say 'Oh, okay, they escaped, they came back'.
"If it is another team they say what great character they have, what a great team they are.
"But we have not escaped. This is character. This is personality. It is the reason we are in the position we are.
"I don't see anyone with more character than this team."
