A hamstring strain means Patrice Evra will miss Manchester United's UEFA Champions League tie with Celtic on Tuesday. The French full back was only able to play a limited part in the training session, and has now been ruled out of the meeting with the SPL champions.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said on Sky Sports News: "It is too big a risk with hamstrings. I think that he will be okay for Saturday but not tomorrow."
