Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra feels their young players will be better for recent difficult results.
Draws in the Champions League with Basle and in the Premier League at Stoke City have proved major tests for United.
"They [the young players] can learn from experiences like that, but first of all the experienced players have to do their job before you say anything to the young players. We have to set the example on the pitch and show that we never give up. Basel was a bad performance, but we never gave up and we got the point," Evra told manutd.com.
"The young players see how hard the senior players train even though many of us have won a lot of trophies. I always say you only have to watch Giggsy in training - he works hard every day. You'd have thought he'd never won anything, yet he's won every trophy going. That's the example to follow."
