Juventus fullback Patrice Evra is happy the club is back amongst Europe's elite.

Last night, Juventus beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal.

Evra remarked, "This club has a massive history and it has to be respected. Nobody expected us to get to the semi-final. A lot of old fans and ex-players are really pleased, because they've done that in the past and it had been 12 years since they reached the semi-final.

"Now we'll try to reach the Final."
