Patrice Evra hasn't wasted time winding up Manchester United's England contingent after this week's disaster.

Evra said: "In my heart I am disappointed but I have to laugh at them because they would do the same if France had not qualified.

"I was singing 'England, England' in the dressing room, which I found quite funny, even if they didn't."

United's Portugal duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani will be involved, along with Holland captain Edwin van der Sar and Poland keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Evra added: "I still can't quite believe it.

"A team like England should be there and it will be a weaker tournament because they are not."
