Patrice Evra admits he fears for his future at Manchester United.

The fullback is being linked with a return to France at the end of this season, if not future.

"I don't want to think about the past," said Evra, a goalscorer in United's 2-0 Capital One Cup win at Stoke.

"The past is gone. I don't want to think about the future because I might get worried. I want to think about the present. The present is about winning games. I want to get another unbeaten run going, but this time we do not want to slip back again. It is too painful for us, for the staff, for the fans."
