Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra admits he feels embarrassed to be playing in the Europa League.
United captain Evra said the players needed to "look in the mirror" after their Champions League exit against Basle in December.
"I can't find the words to describe how I feel about us being knocked out," he said. "It was a sad day. It is embarrassing to play in the Europa League.
"Players dream about playing for United because it offers them the prospect of Champions League action."
