Evian midfielder Eric Tie Bi trialling at Hull this week

Evian midfielder Eric Tie Bi is trialling at Hull City this week.

Despite only arriving at the Tigers' team base on Saturday morning, the Evian midfielder was given 28 minutes as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Dynamo Dresden.

Another assessment will be made when City face Eintract Braunschweig tonight.

"With all the conversations we've had with Evian (when signing Yannick Sagbo) in the last couple of weeks, we've said to him we'll have a look at him," said Bruce to the Hull Daily Mail.

"He's come here for a few days. He did well, I thought he was excellent. He'll play some part again tomorrow.

"There would still be a bit to do. I don't think they'll just let him go. We haven't explored that just yet. We'll cross that bridge if and when we come to it."
