Celtic are showing significant interest in Evian centre-half Cedric Mongongu.
The 23-year old Congo DR international has emerged on the radar of the Hoops in case they miss out on FC Groningen's Virgil van Dijk.
The Scottish champions are believed to have made a £1.8million bid for the 21-year old but Groningen may demand closer to £3m which could turn Neil Lennon's attentions to former Monaco stopper Mongongu.
