Angel Di Maria is well aware that Manchester United's season hinges on their next few fixtures.
The fourth-placed Red Devils meet Liverpool, who sit fifth, at Anfield on Sunday in what is likely to be a massive game in their Champions League hopes for next term.
After the weekend's test, United host the in-form Aston Villa before the Manchester derby with second-placed City prior to their trip to league leaders Chelsea which suggests to Di Maria that this is a vital section of the campaign for he and his teammates.
"We are all aware that a number of big games are just around the corner, and the season will be decided by these fixtures," Di Maria told United Review.
"We know all about these upcoming games and we have been thinking and talking about them for quite some time now.
"We've known that everything would be at stake over this final period of the season."
