Joseph Yobo admits Everton pal Marouane Fellaini will find it strange facing his former Standard Liege teammates in their UEFA Cup clash tonight.
The Nigeria defender told evertonTV:"I think Thursday will be strange for Fellaini. He's only been here for two weeks but he's been at Standard since he was a kid and knows all their players. So I think he's going to be upset that he's not playing.
"I spoke to him and he wants us to get through so later on he can get involved in the Uefa Cup games. At the same time he has just come from Standard so he still has an affection for them.
"It's so important we don't lose on Thursday. Playing Standard away from home is going to be a pretty tricky tie for us, so we have to take advantage at home. The most important thing is not to lose the game and to not concede because they showed against Liverpool what they can do at home."
