Everton striker Ayegbeni Yakubu is determined to end his goal drought and help the team secure a place in the UEFA Cup.

The Nigerian has failed to score in 10 games going into the Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday.

However Yakubu is convinced he can improve his 19-goal tally.

He told the club's website: "Strikers are under pressure when we don't score but I am used to that.

"We have to just keep doing the job. I will keep working and believe I can score 20 goals this season."
