Everton defender Joleon Lescott is delighted former club Wolves have won promotion to the Premiership.

He said: "Wolves getting promotion was definitely one of the highlights of the season for me.

"When the fixtures come out next week the Wolves-Everton fixture will definitely be the first one I look for. I can't wait for the day we play Wolves."

The former Four Dwellings High School pupil added: "I am hoping I will get a warm reception from the Wolves fans.

"I am still in touch with some of the lads from my days there and was speaking to the kitman the other day and he was saying I should do."
