Danish international Lars Jacobsen has yet to make his debut for Everton since his arrival from Nurnberg after dislocating his shoulder on international duty. The 29-year-old summer signing is now looking at December to start a game.
"I just got out of the sling last week, so that's positive, and I'm starting to work a bit more with my shoulder joint and try to get the movement back," Jacobsen told the club's official website.
"I got injured at the worst possible time. I had only trained about five times, then I went away with the Danish national team and got this injury.
"I was very unhappy at the time of my injury but now I'm just trying to look forward to coming back. Hopefully I should be ready in December. That's all I'm focusing on at the moment.
"I haven't been able to move my arm for a few weeks and I'm just starting to get some movement back, so that feels a bit strange.
"I can't really run at the moment because it's too much for my shoulder to take, so I'm just working on the bike for my cardio and doing some exercises in the gym."
