Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard will be fit for Saturday's big match against Manchester United, believes former Blues No1 Nigel Martyn.
"The one thing that David Moyes should take encouragement from, however, is the fact Tim was able to play on against Brazil after he had suffered the injury, which suggests to me that he will be fine to take on Manchester United.
"He is going to be in discomfort for a while, but I'm sure our trusted physio Mick Rathbone will be able to concoct some sort of device to protect the finger and as long as there is no chance of him suffering any further damage Tim should be good to go."
