Everton midfielder Tim Cahill is hoping for another international record.

Cahill became the first Australian to score in the World Cup last year and now wants the same accolade for next month's Asian Cup.

"I would love to be the first to score in Asia as well," Cahill said. "It's the first time we've gone into a competition going in as favourites so it's a massive compliment."
